Upon the success of last years inaugural event: Saturday, August 9, 2024 will be our second Pickleball Day. It lands on the same week, as 'National Pickleball Day' in Canada! This is a special day to showcase the sport many love and host a fun tournament and party, right in the heart of Vernon! We will be closing off the rainbow crosswalk block on 30th Ave (between 33rd Street and 34 Street) for the festivities. There will be 3 tourney courts and a demo court (to try it out), run by the Vernon Pickleball Association. The other half of the block will consist of tables, chairs, food trucks, games and a DJ! Did you know that Vernon has the best indoor pickleball facility in Canada!! National Pickleball Day is an excellent opportunity to spread awareness of the sport and introduce the game to new players. It's the fastest growing sport in North America.
