The Downtown Vernon Association kicks off the start of Summer, with one of Vernon's most iconic events...
The 31st Annual Sunshine Festival!

As six city blocks in Downtown Vernon, are transformed into a vehicle-free playground for children and adults.

Speaking of vehicles: it's FREE PARKING DAY, all meters are free (on June 21st).

The 31st Annual Sunshine Festival is a FREE event, that takes place from 10am-5pm.

This festival will showcase our own downtown businesses and a some outside vendors. Play games, meet mascots, listen to live music, find new treasures, eat, dance, shop and so much more!
**We have some NEW SURPRISES in store for you and the kids!**

Grab the squad and bask under the Okanagan sun (or cloud) with these attractions and more:
** at Noon, LOOK UP!! There will be something in the sky over our festival, for everyone to enjoy!**

- The Food Zone consists of food trucks, picnic tables w/umbrellas, chairs under a large tent, the main stage for bands (on every hour from 10am - 5pm) and more. We will also have food vendors throughout.
- Children's activities can be found in The Kids Zone (the 2900 block). Find Games, Music, A Reptile Show, Face Painting, Balloon Animals and more.
- Countless vendors and eateries, plus food vendors throughout 30th and so, so much more.
