Kick off the start of Summer with one of Vernon's most iconic events, The 31st Annual Sunshine Festival! As six city blocks in Downtown Vernon, are transformed into a vehicle-free playground for children and adults. Speaking of vehicles: it's FREE PARKING DAY, all meters are free June 21). The 31st Annual Sunshine Festival is a FREE event, that takes place from 10am-5pm. This festival will showcase our own downtown businesses and a some outside vendors. Play games, meet mascots, listen to live music, find new treasures, eat, dance, shop and so much more! **We have some NEW SURPRISES in store for you and the kids!** Grab the squad and bask under the Okanagan sun (or cloud) with these attractions and more: ** at Noon, LOOK UP!! There will be something in the sky over our festival, for everyone to enjoy!** - The Food Zone consists of food trucks, picnic tables w/umbrellas, chairs under a large tent, the main stage for bands (on every hour from 10am - 5pm) and more. - Children's activities can be found in The Kids Zone (the 2900 block).
